I got down to the Church worship service and my church's (St. George Greek Orthodox Church) GLENDI (a greek party where we tell of our heritage and faith). I was supposed to help, but all I could do now I have had this accident was to come and be there for a few hours, sitting in for someone at a table and in general being supportive of the event. Instead of any substantial help it seemed I was discussing and telling people about the accident and how good God's grace is that I am alive. I did have to rest on the library couch twice and I slept some. This business of getting tiered so often is frustrating.

The doctors and nurses are pressuring me to try and go somewhere so that I can be with a place where someone is with me at least part of the day/night and nurses and home health aids can come there. I don't know what to do. I signed up for a basic typing course at college to try and get my left hand to work. It might be a nerve malfunction. It reminds me of the troubles my mother had. She had Multiple Sclerosis, and her first symptoms were that the commands she gave her limbs were not what happened. Also when I want to move to the right, my body often goes left. It is so frustrating. Today I went to my neighborhood health clinic as I did not feel good. Now it seems I have an infection, so its antibiotics again.

I had to take a loan, through some friends, for $1,400.00 to pay taxes on the family land that I want to build/repair a structure to live in. I cry often being so helpless and I would hope that someone would hire me for something. I have even made a tri-fold resume like a brochure, to show the graphic arts skills I learned at college and saved it as a PDF file.

PLEASE pray that God provide for me the income so I can get well and do the work He wants me to do. PRAY I am healed in mind, sprit, soul, body and be as HE wills!

I have sent in my papers to volunteer and help at this years Project Homless Connect at the MassMutual Center. I modified a flyer you can give to someone who is homeless.
And this city of Springfield link tells about last year's event and has links to next week's 2009 Project connect. I am doing this because I believe in this help and I am part of the Leadership Council of the Western Massachusetts Regional Network to End Homelessness .

I am also looking toward October 18th, when the Western Massachusetts Arthritis Foundation Walk happens. I have a team I am Captain of called the "3 linkers" (click on the name "three linkers" to see a card that can be printed to show the website address) and hope people reading this will come to the website at http://wmaw.kintera.org/ioof and
join our team or donate to the cause and preferably both. More information is at this link, small arthritis walk image click on the image (or this link) to see and print it. If they want to they can send donations to me and I will put them on the website, all I ask is tell me if you want this to be made as a donation in the name of someone or some organization. Arthritis does not just cripple old folks, it hits hard also the young, like the 2 year old. Let's all get behind this and put Arthritis out of business in this country as we did Polio.
