Did not get to Church at (St. George Greek Orthodox Church) last week, and will not be able to this week. On the 30th I went up to the Berkshires to visit with Alice Davis as her birthday is on January 3rd. She could only get me on Wednesday as she would be in Lee, MA then, so I took the bus up and back, about $44..

I heard from Wesley and he got my card and told me he was NOT better but now the Phlobitis is worse. I did get to see him for a few moments the next week when I came back to Springfield on January 4th to attent the Encampment and Springfield Lodge, I.O.O.F. meetings. He does not walk much or do much as the Phlobitis is so much worse in his legs. I have to go and see the doctgors as I am much worse on my arms, back, neck etc.

Less food stamps will come as Social Security and SSI is to come next moth. I am glad I got food from Open Pantry some time ago. I was also invited to go to a friends house for Christmas. I said yes, but then did not want to go anywhere. As it turned out I was very ill. The day before I did NOT go to the Rescue Mission's Christmas Dinner, nor did I go to their breakfast that moring, just went to help at the Christmas Dinner Open Pantry puts on. A member of our Lodge, Bob Maurice, heads up that committee so many of the lodge brothers assist.

I failed the housing inspection and will need to have it ready to inspect by Wednesday, the Inspector for the HAP housing subsidy will come Friday at 2pm next week.

While up visiting Alice Davis we had snow, which needed to be shoveled, Thursday morning, Friday morning, Saturday morning, Sunday morning, Monday morning. It was so windy as well that we did not leave her house until Monday. Then she took me north to do some stuff, more shoveling, and visit Wesley and then on the Bus Back to Springfield. I know that is part of next weeks report, but I am saying it as I write this on Tuesday the 5th, Theophany starts today.

While at Alice's I did not want to eat much. We worked on a Bible Reading Guide that I will have up by the end of this week in a PDF formate for people to look at.

I will talk with my doctor January 25th and a member of her team on the 13th. I am concerned about my pains and lumps in my back. I need to pass this housing inspection and they always seems to come when I don't feel well.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

I have made a tri-fold resume like a brochure, saved it as a PDF file, and gave it to the Food Stamp people in case they know of a job when I am able to work . I am looking for some work as soon as I can find some.

We would like to raise over 500 dollars, but set our goal at $200 because not that many folks have joined us yet. Join or give to the Arathritis Foundation through our team.
